Thank you for visiting Spot kids OT! Every company has a story behind it and this is my story........

I moved from Chicago to sunny San Diego in 2004 and brought with me aspirations of owning my own business.  I wanted to offer private therapy options to families, knowing that the best possible care would come from a collaboration of services with other disciplines. I've always felt that a multi-disciplinary approach to care would ensure treatment of the 'whole' child. Within the first year of living in southern California I met my friend and later business partner, Gina Dasco.       

Gina is a speech pathologist who also realizes the value in treating children with a multi-disciplinary approach. Working as therapists under the educational model, we collaborated to meet the comprehensive needs of the students we serviced. At that time, I decided to move this approach into private practice and hence, "SPOT kids" was created! 

In September 2005, a partnership was formed and the SPOT kids clinic opened its doors in Bird Rock La Jolla. Now, as the business continues to grow, so do the SPOT girls! Most recently, I have independently taken on Spot kids OT while Gina solely operates Spot kids Speech. We continue to provide both services under one SPOT roof and feel fortunate to have a friendship that helps us to deliver the best of care to our clients.
