About Us

The SPOT Kids Clinic

Jenny Burke, a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 10 years experience in the field, had a vision of children accessing private therapy in a fun and warm environment.  Jenny’s goal was to incorporate other disciplines and offer therapy with the “whole child” in mind. Upon starting the SPOT Kids clinic in 2005, she teamed up with Gina Dasco to offer Speech, as well as OT services, and together they opened the SPOT doors in the La Jolla, Bird Rock community. Speech and Occupational Therapy is a unique collaboration enabling best possible therapeutic outcomes. Over the years, SPOT Kids has grown and continues to provide private therapy services for families in La Jolla as well as the greater San Diego areas.

SPOT Kids Occupational Therapy provides assessment, treatment, and consultation services for various developmental needs such as Dysgraphia, Motor Apraxia, Sensory Integration Disorder (SID), Dyslexia, Visual and Auditory Processing Delays, ADD/ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. In our unique private practice, we work very closely with each family and various team members while striving to meet the individual needs of the whole child.
